The Dighton Police Officers Local 306 will be hosting its 4th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament on July 20, 2012 again at Swansea Country Club. Over the past 3 years with the donations and sponsorships of local supporters like you, we have been able to pledge over $7500.00 to the Dighton Rehoboth Citizens Scholarship Fund for scholarships benefitting graduating seniors. This year we have also established an additional fund which will benefit local youth organizations and groups in the form of sponsorships, donations and assistance to those who may not be able to afford registration fees for their children’s participation in youth activities. So, we are again actively seeking community support in the form of monetary donations, gift cards, hole sponsorships, raffle prizes and of course tournament players and participants as we strive towards our goal of continuing to support all of our local youth in education and recreation.
Believing that our youth is the foundation of our future, the DPO306 looks forward to your participation in helping us raise funds in any way that you can. Greetings and welcome to the Dighton Police Department Website. My name is Robert MacDonald and I am the Chief of Police. The Dighton Police Department is currently comprised of 18 highly trained sworn officers and 8 civilian support staff. I am proud to be part of a professional law enforcement organization that consists of dedicated, committed, and honest Police Officers.
